Barcode Tinnasit Joins GMMTV + “Mo Dao Zu Shi” to Get Adapted by Japan for Stage Play

December 2024 has been a full of surprise of a month of the year, hasn’t it? From back-to-back surprises, whether expected or unexpected, all these exciting surprises have been undeniable, lovely-delights for the fans for sure. Like, who doesn’t love surprises, right? And, on top that, if it’s a mind-blowing one, who could ever not say not to it?

The ex-BOC artist Barcode Tinnasit finally joins GMMTV, just as some fans had predicted after his departure from company. Barcode Tinnasit was one of the major artist of Be On Cloud, and cast of popular series KinnPorsche, who had announced his departure from the company at BFF fan meeting around April, 2024.

After officially leaving the company, the artist joined another agency called Aplan on May 28, and continued to focus on creating music until September. However, on September 12, the company announced that both parties had reached an agreement, and the actor had ended his term as an artist under the agency.

But the main questions surrounding the fans’ mind are – Will Barcode be a part of any series soon? If so, then which 2025 GMMTV series will the artist gonna be part of? And, If he’s gonna start of again through BL series, will he be paired to a specific someone, in that case, who could it be? The fun part is, that fans have even started shipping the actor with the remaining GMMTV artist who have yet to be in an official partnership. All these question are keeping the fans up at night, making them restless. Well, only time can answer all these questions, isn’t it?

“Mo Daou Zu Shi” to Get Adapted by Japan for Stage Play

What could get better than getting to experience the amazing bromance series “The Untamed” over again in a new taste. Yes, you heard that right! The popular Chinese series “The Untamed”, which was a adapted from the popular danmei novel called “Mo Dao Zu Shi”, is now getting adapted again by Japan for stage play. It was recently revealed that the stage play is slated to run in two cities of Japan, first in Tokyo from March 22 to 30, 2025 and second in Kyoto from April 4 to 6, 2025.

Casting

As for casting, the officials have prepared a very dazzling line-up for the stage paly. “Perfect Propose” star Shunya Kaneko and Tomoki Hirose have been casted as the main characters Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji respectively.

The original novel was first adapted for live action in 2019 in the name of “The Untamed” starring Xioa Zhan (as Wei Wuxian) and Wang Yibo (Lan Wangji). Undoubtably, the series even gained huge popularity worldwide, making it a super hit live-action adaption.
