A shocking announcement made by GMMTV on March 15, 2025 left the fans completely speechless yesterday. Leng Thanaphon and Ohm Pawat, the 2024 BL ‘Kidnap’, stars has break their on-screen partnership off recently, and decided to go separated ways for their upcoming future.
GMMTV, the agency of Leng Thanaphon and Ohm Pawat, released a statement yesterday to announce the news of the artist’s recently made decision to the fans. It was also mentioned in the statement that it was a mutual decision made by the artist together to go their separate ways for further future.
Back in October, 2023 in GMMTV 2024 Part I line-up, Leng Thanphon was first introduced to everyone as the new partner of the popular GMMTV actor, Ohm Pawat. In the line-up event, the first series of the newly paired couple was also unveiled for very the first time along their first appearance together in public. ‘Kidnap’, Ohm and Leng’s announced series was premiered last year in September 6, and ran until November 22, with a total of 12 episodes.
Shortly after the finale of the series ‘Kidnap’, on November 26, 2024, in GMMTV 2025 line-up, it was announced that the pair, Ohm Pawat and Leng Thanaphon would star in two series in 2025: Mu Te Luv and Only Friends: Dream On (Only Friends 2023 sequel).
However, after yesterday’s announcement, fans started having doubts whether the company would replace the pair or keep them still as they were or pair one of them with another existing artist from the company. Some even requested the company to keep Leng Thanphon in his assigned roles in the announced projects. Today, however, the company released another statement regarding the ongoing situation, informing fans about the change in casting.
Change in Casting
This afternoon, GMMTV uploaded a statement regarding the replacement of cast members in the two projects Ohm Pawat and Leng Thanaphon was supposed to star together. Aou Thanaboon and Boom Tharatorn replaces Ohm and Leng in Only Friends: Dream On, whereas, Surf Patchara and Java Bhobdhama in Mu-Te-Luv (9 Temples).

The recent announcement from GMMTV has left the fans with a bitter-sweet feeling, as they lose the last chance to see Ohm and Leng together. Meanwhile they are enlightened with the news of getting to see Aou Thanaboon and Boom Tharatornand to finally star in lead roles as they have waiting to see them in one for long.
