Netflix Announces “The Boyfriend” season 2, EarthMix’s Ossan’s Love to Start Airing from January 6
December 2024 has been indeed of a busy month for the BL and GL lovers, with all these upcoming series and shows announcement, it is getting quite overwhelming for all the fans to decide to choose which series should they look forward to the most. And here we have already got another exciting news to get excited all over again.
Netflix is bringing back the 2024’s hit Japanese gay dating show “The Boyfriend” soon in 2025. The official account of Netflix Japan released the statement affirming the season 2’s production being confirmed already.
As the show received massive positive responses in its first season, it is indeed expected for the show to return for another season soon. We are already eagerly waiting to feel the same amount of excitement once over again with the upcoming season’s astonishing confirmation.

Ossan’s Love 2024
With putting to an end to the wait, GMMTV finally released the highly anticipated Japanese BL remake “Ossan’s Love” official trailer on all over their social medias making the fans happy and relief to get to see their favorite ship on the screen again. Yes, that right! One of popular ship of GMMTV Earth and Mix are coming back again on-screen as the lead couple with the Japanese remake “Ossan’s Love”.
The series — Ossan’s Love was first made in Japan in 2016 starring Tanaka Kei, Ochiai Motoki and Yoshida Kotaro. After that, the series was again made two times, first in Japan in 2018 and second in Hong Kong in 2021.
And now, the series is getting re-made by one of the major entertainment company of Thailand — GMMTV, starring the Earth Pirapat, Mix Sahaphap, and Krit Shahkrit in the centric role. Though the series announcement was made in GMMTV’s 2024 line-up part 2, leading for the fans to expect for the series to at least start airing from late 2024. But, unfortunately the series had to schedule finally for 2025 at last. But what made the announcement great is, the series is coming very soon in 2025.
Ossan’s Love, a story in which the centric character – Heng, a hopeless bachelor finds himself getting into a complicated situation when he gets to know that both his boss and new collogue-turned roommate are in love with him. The messy situations gets only messier when both Heng’s pursuer starts fighting for his love.
