“Our Youth” Episode 8 Leaves Fans Feeling Completely Heartbroken
Just as we all know from experience, that the sweeter and realistic the series seems at first, the heartbreaking and unbearable it gets, close its end. And, exactly that’s how’s things going on in the recent episodes of “Our Youth”.
Currently, the recent episodes of “Our Youth” seems brutally tough to handle for the fans. With each passing days, as Minase and Hirukawa getting drifted far from each other in the pressure of their current situation, despite their feelings are exactly opposite of it, it’s getting unbearable to see the two characters suffering so much. But as there’s a saying that “Patience yields sweet results”, this case will be no different from others, right? Exactly, that’s why what we got to do is, wait patiently for the ice to melt and enjoy the spring.

Short Summery of Episode 8
As we all know, in episode 7 Hirukawa pushes Minase away from him, thinking its best for both of them. Later in episode 8 we get to see, Minase spending his days waiting to get contacted by Hirukawa, but nothing as such happens any time soon, until one day Hirukawa suddenly shows up in front of Minase’s apartment unannounced. Shocked yet relieved Minase asks Hirukawa about his recent whereabouts.
To his surprise Minase gets to know that Hirukawa will be leaving this city transferring to another school soon. Speechless Minase tries hard to convey his internal thoughts to Hirukawa, even tries to confess his true feelings towards the latter, but at last he fails to do so. And soon Hirukawa disappears completely from Minase’s life just as he said that day.
After attending the graduation ceremony, while passing by Hirukawa’s house, Minase stops in his tracks upon seeing the “For Sale” sign hanging on Hirukawa’s house’s entrance door. Not being able to control himself, Minase decides to enter the house then. After Minase successfully enters the house he finds a letter in a film CD cover. The letter was the one that the both of them promised to write for each other on each of their birthdays. Not only that, but it was also the filed with the actual, true emotion of Hirukawa, which he couldn’t convey to Minase by himself.
