Thailand Box Office Awards 2024 — From BLs to GLs: Check Out the List of Awarded Stars and Series

From the GL “The Secret of Us” to BL “Jack and Joker: U Steal My Heart”, multiple “Y” Series and its Stars Got Awarded Last Night in the Award Ceremony.

The award ceremony “Thailand Box Office Awards 2024”, which was held yesterday in Aksra Theatre, King Power Rangnam, on March 5, 2025, including artists from various genres, awarded several Y series and its actors in the event.

The award ceremony began with the opening of ‘Red Carpet’ at 4 p.m., followed by the actual event at 6 p.m. as previously mentioned. With multiple movies, series, and actors nominated for multiple categories, the following are the winners crowned last night.

The Secret of Us

“The Secret of Us”, one of the immensely popular and oved GL series of 2024, starred by Lingling Sirilak and Orm Kornnaphat, bagged several attractive category awards at last night’s ceremony. From the “Original Song of the Year” to “Best Couple of the Year”, the series got awarded in 5 categories in total out of the five nominations.

Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart

2024’s phenomenal BL series — “Jack and Joker: U Steal My Heart”, wins the “Best BL Series of 2024” award in Thailand Box Office Awards 2024, making its start with its first win indicating a promising start of a long journey of “wins” ahead in-future.

The Sign

Billy Patchanon and Babe Tanatat’s supernatural-themed 2023 series “The Sign”, won the “Best Production Design” award the previous night, marking its fifth win, after securing four awards at the previous two award ceremony (Feed Awards 2024 and Y Universe 2024).

Love Sick

The young main leads of “Love Sick The Series”, Almond Poomsuwan and Progress Passawish won the ‘Rookie of the Year’ title in Thailand Box Office Award 2024, marking their first win after their recent ended series “Love Sick” in December 22, 2024.

The Paradise of Thorns

“The Paradise of Thorns”, one of 2024’s best queer representation movie starring Jeff Satur and Engfa Waraha in lead roles, won awards in four categories at the event the previous night. The film, which successfully showcased the numerous challenges faced by a queer individual after the sudden death of his partner, in a country where same-sex marriage is not recognised, was honored in the following categories at the prestigious award ceremony last night.
