GMMTV’s “ThamePo: Heart That Skips a Beat” to Start Broadcasting From December 13th
GMMTV’s first Idol x Documentary-Filmmaker romance BL- “ThamPo: Heart that skips a Beat” to start airing from this December 13th, Friday.
Yesterday GMMTV OFFICIAL released the official trailer of their upcoming December release (ThamePo) Heart That Skips a Beat, which is to aired every Friday at 8:30pm on GMM25 and GMMTV OFFICIAL (YouTube) from December 13th.
ThamPo the series tell a story of two worlds that’s do different from each other colliding together in an unexpected circumstance that’s about to happen. Po, who’s suffering from job rejection frequently, defines people’s kind in two categories – “losers” & “winners”. According to his theory of “losers” and “winners” he falls into the first one, whereas peoples like the members of famous boyband MARS fall onto the latter category. On the other hand, we have “Thame- The Leader of MARS” who’s currently going through a lot despite being in category “winner” according to Po, will be leaving his group soon for making his debut in Korea, but in reality he doesn’t wants to.
What happens when this so different worlds people finally crosses their path when Po is assigned to film the documentary of the last concert of MARS before its disbanding and its leader’s leaving?
The series announcement was made this year in April 23rd in GMMTV 2024 PART 2 line up, with releasing its first introductory trailer on the official’s YouTube channel and other medias. Though the pair was unexpected and newly paired fans still didn’t failed to identify the pair’s potential for future and amazing chemistry on-screen. Thus the counting of waiting hour for series started and continued up until the officials finally declared the streaming news. Though this celebrity x ordinary boy portrayal has been happened before through reading medias, other country’s BL series, but its new and totally fresh attempt for GMMTV to create an “Idol x Ordinary boy” trope.
Beautifully Screening of the Story Preview
In the recent official trailer the first thing we see is Po reaching out to Thame and letting him know that the person he wants to get to know is Thame, which literally screams such a great start for the trailer itself. The story preview description, screening of each scene, the slow yet well put pace, editing, maintenance of aestheticism everything made the trailer a great overview of the drama itself.

The hashtag of the series trended on X (formerly Twitter) with over 220K posts being 1st in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia since the release of the official trailer.
