Several details have been revealed of the Hong-Kong produced Chinese Zombie Apocalypse BL ‘The Last Oath’ and a one-sided love, Japanese BL ‘Ao to Midori’!
This year, China and Japan are intensely dedicated in delivering marvelous works in BL Industry along Thai BL, giving it a head-strong competition with releasing back-to-back hits. China, which is a master of creating dark BLs, nowadays is experimenting with lots of different concepts from friends to lovers to actors falling in love and now, it is bringing the first-ever Zombie Apocalypse BL ‘The Last Oath’.

Yesterday, on August 30, 2026, the upcoming Hong Kong produced Chinese series, ‘The Last Oath’, a first-ever Chinese Zombie Apocalypse BL unveiled its first look with revealing two trailers of the upcoming series introducing the main cast of the drama, revealing the official date of premiere and streaming platform details.
One of the most popular concepts of fictional movies and series for horror thriller subject, zombie apocalypse, the subgenre is finally being debuted in BL, through the new Chinese BL, ‘The Last Oath’ on September 4, 2026. A genre which attracts a huge number of lovers of horror watchers is finally set to fire up the hearts of the horror BL lovers.
The upcoming series would star the two former idols, Chen Ming Hao (A Leh) of ZOOM and Felix Chen (Lin Zai), of the group LOONG9 in lead.

A long unrequited Japanese love-story BL ‘Ao to Midori’ — Cast, Date and Synopsis
The upcoming Japanese BL ‘Ao to Midori’, a rivals to lovers series coming to screen in October, revealed its cast and premiere date on August 29, 2026. An eight year long one sided love story of Ao finally getting reciprocated is going to get witnessed by the world on October 5, 2026.
The upcoming BL, ‘Ao to Midori’ is originally a manga series of the same name illustrated by the author and artist ‘Roji’, is getting adapted for the live action, starring Hidekazu Chinen as Hayama Ao and Kusakawa Naoya as Yamamura Midori in lead.
The series is directed by Kitagawa Hitomi, who has previously been a part of the directorial team behind the ‘Minato Souji Coin Laundry: Season 2’ a sequel of 2022’s BL ‘Minato’s Landromat’.
Hayama Ao, the studious, athletic genius, had fallen in love with his classmate, Yamamura Midori in their senior year of high school, a love that is too obvious to be seen and did not get unnoticed by even Midori. However, thinking how this love would even turn out, Ao could not at last confess to Midori, instead he asked him to keep on seeing him even after their graduation.
And thus pass the eight years of Ao’s life, bearing the precious one sided feelings for Midori. A love he adores too much yet is unable to declare, what outcome will this precious love of Ao receive at the end, and when exactly it is to happen?
