The wait is over! Much awaited updates have been made today! And this time, it’s for both the GL and BL fans. And if you are someone who enjoys both, well, your bonus has just been sanctioned. The Thai GL series ‘The Dragon House’ which was re-announced for the live action adaptation last year on November 14, 2025, on its official X (Formerly Twitter) account, THE DRAGON OFFICIAL, has just made a new update post regarding the series’ progress.
Meanwhile, the star couple of GMMTV, PondPhuwin is coming back to the screen again with their new BL ‘The Missing Sunshine’ after the hit Thai BL series ‘Me and Thee (2025)’ and ‘Peach and Me’ a mini sequel of ‘Me and Thee’ have had its very first look unveiled today, on August 23. 2026.

The very first preview that the GL ‘The Dragon House’ had revealed was back in 2024 in November, when the lead actress of the series had officially revealed the official pilot on the singer cum actresses’ official YouTube Channel. However, due to certain hurdles that the production and the team faced, the series could not move forward how it was meant to, then. Even the original cast were replaced with the new ones early this year, in 2026.
But the great thing is even after the boundless hardships, the actress, who is the initiator of the series and her team has managed to sustain the dream of giving the fiction a reality/bringing the characters of The Dragon to reality.
Recently, the actress Wonderframe has come up on her official social media to share the actual obstructions that she and her team faced for the past two years which has hindered the process of the making of the series numerous times. Wonderframe has shared how she has wandered from one place to another for the funding and official investment. Each and every final conversation about the investment on the series has failed to make it to the end, and at last the actress, Wonderframe herself and her partner have gathered the funding for the series. A worth-risky initiative taken by the both is indeed commendable!

The Dragon House, originally ‘The Dragon’ is the part one book of the trilogy novel series by author Salmon, who’s also the writer of 4 Elements, is an enemies to lovers themed GL, which tells the story of Fei Long and Wang Lee Ming. History behind the production of ‘The Missing Sunshine’
On November 25, 2025, GMMTV organized its 2026 Line-Up event called GMMTV2026 MAGIC VIBES MAXIMIZED, where 30+ series and shows were announced including multiple BLs and GLs for the year 2026. Out of all Pond and Phuwin was to star in two BLs together, one in Peach and Me, the mini sequel of ‘Me and Thee’ (2025) and another was Replay (2026) along with other two GMM couples, TayNew and JossGawin.
However, exactly three days later of the original announcement of the series adaptation of Replay, starring PondPhuwin, TayNew and JossGawin, the officials releases the statement regarding cancellation of show on November 28, 2025, due to the massive criticism of the controversial work of the original writer being adapted into series.
In the cancellation statement made by GMMTV, it was also mentioned that the cast of Replay would get into appropriate production later in future and announcements of such subjects would be made public once the suitable time comes. And here we go!
After the announcement of JossGawin’s ‘Round One’ on May 15, 2025, time has come for Pond and Phuwin today, on August 24, and hence, we have received the news of the series ‘The Missing Sunshine’ with its plot.
Synopsis: ‘The Missing Sunshine’, a series which heavily focuses on the concept of one’s reliant on their ‘soulmate’, is one of your ‘enemies to lovers’ themed series, where the hitman who’s assigned to kill the art-enthusiast businessman, New Navi comes face-to-face to his biggest shock of his life.
