Newly formed pair AugustLeng had their first series’ first episode aired on this Tuesday, July 14, and its already taking place in the hearts of many. Its the first series, Leng Thanaphon and August Vachiravit has been paired up for, under Century UU Entertainment Co., Ltd. Previously the main actor of the series, Leng Thanaphon has worked under giant BL talent agency and production company GMMTV, and has delivered one BL series with previous partner Ohm Pawat, called Kidnap (2024). And as for the series’ other main lead, August Vachiravit, the virsatile, award winning actor also had been starred in a BL in 2024, called Addicted Heroine.
Love Destiny 2026, which is the BL remake of the immense popular Thai Lakorn, Love Destiny 2018, follows the story of Great, a kind hearted surgeon from the present time of 2026, gets strucked by lightening on the way home after an accurate reading by a powerful tarot card reader at a club. The reader warns Great about the upcoming massive change in his life, that’s going to make upside down his whole world and sorrundings. Great, who doesn’t belive in reading, fortune or as such, indeed gets teleported to a period, about 300 years ago, called Ayutthaya. Thus, his new life in new body begins with thousands of questions in a strange past world within new peoples.

At first, at the time of announcement of the remake, many Thai lakorn lovers has objected the remaking of their popular drama Love Destiny, which had previously gathered its own large fandom on its own in 2018, but after the first premiere of the remake’s first episode, there we could see a slow but future-steady shift in opinions. Though, there a still room for improvement according to many on the internet, the new series still has managed to gather a good amount of praise with its first episode and got many hooked for more.
