A new action-thriller BL from Hong Kong has just premiered its first two episodes on YOUKU International, and guess what! The series is super spicy with a deliciously astonishing plot. A romance story between a CEO of a multinational company, who’s hiding something dark and huge behind his infamous business and an undercover cop who’s on a major sting operation to catch a big drug manufacturing and trafficking racket.
On June 2, 2026, the makers of the series announced the web novel ‘Yan Hui’ by Feng Nong being adapted for live adaptation for the first time, later on June 26, 2026 the first look of all the main cast being together in a poster gets unveiled. And soon after that, the officials of the series revealed the casting details one by one on their official media handles.
And eventually, on August 7, 2026 the official trailer of the series gets revealed.
On a fateful day, a clash between fire and ice occurs when Mok Fei Foon, the undercover police officer and Hui Leuk Tou, the CEO of Tinpin Group, meet each other in an unexpected circumstance. Unknowingly, the polar opposite characters attract one another very fast at their first interaction and the two get closer.
The pair gets into a secret relationship together, which is to be limited within the four walls under a roof and nothing more, however, after 6 months of them being together in secret, things start to fall apart from the previous arrangements. Many truths come under the light one after another. Even though the pair try hard to stay apart but the harder they try, the stronger and quicker they pull to each other.
Meet the cast of BL — Ash (2026)
In the main character, Mok Fei Foon, we have Yi Xuan popularly known as Kingston, a Chinese actor and Idol, who’s also an ex trainee of SM entertainment and participant of ‘Youth with you 3’. Then as the other main lead we have the gorgeous-handsome model and actor Leo Peng in the character of Hui Leuk Tou.
In the vital supporting characters other than the leads we have, Ethan@ALITZ playing as Xu Luqinq, Singlee as Sean and Jonathan as Hou.

What’s in episode one and two
Episode one of ‘Ash’ started off as the usual introductory first episode of the series like any other show, introducing the characters, plot base-line, showcasing the first meet up of the main leads and so on. However, it is to be told at must that the execution of every scene of the first episode was extraordinary.
The series successfully handled revealing the main plot on hold in episode one by keeping the secrecy at a right pace, which later gets revealed earlier in the second episode of the show.
The secret that was being held apart spotlessly from Hui Leuk Tou and the viewers, of Mok Fei Foon being disguised as Cheung Wai Keung, the gang member of a drug manufacturing mafia group gets revealed in episode two. And showing the true identity of him being the officer Mok, an undercover agent cop is cherry on top suspense, which was worthwhile being anticipated until its reveal.
The series ‘Ash’ is one of your ‘that’ series which is packed up with lots of spice & tension between the characters, actions and thriller-suspense.
