The first look of the upcoming iQIYI Original BL ‘Fool in Love’ has been revealed yesterday on the official platform of iQIYI Thai and on Tailai Entertainment‘s social media platform. Whereas, the character posters and teasers of the upcoming DisneyPlus Thai suspense-thriller series ‘Still Water’ (Still Water 100 Corpses) started unveiling sequentially from August 15, in the arrangement of one character’s ‘poster and teaser’ reveal a day.

iQIYI Original — Fool in Love (2026)
iQIYI Original, which has been producing high-quality drama series for years has contributed a fair amount of distribution in GL and BLs as well so far, such as Don’t be too emotional (currently on air), My Stand-In (2024), Petrichor (2024) and more, now the company is on work on their next one, Fool in Love.
Finally, after the adaptation of My Stand-In (2024), originally known as ‘Professional Body Double’ which is one of the 11 novel series, set in the same universe of renowned ‘188 group’ by Shui Qiang Cheng, ‘Fool in Love’ (2026) is the next in line, which is already under-production under iQIYI Original and Tailai Entertainment. The officials have already revealed its official teaser yesterday on August 17, 2026.
‘Fool in Love’, also known as ‘My Beloved Fool’, is an webnovel written by the popular Chinese BL author Shui Qian Cheng, tells the story of two toxic individuals, one who’s blind in love, and another, who’s in it for revenge.
Hot, daring, egocentric Ing, who gets whatever he lays his eyes on, gets smitten by the tall-handsome boy Yok, who happens to be Ing’s younger brother’s friend, upon their first meeting. And as mentioned, Ing acquires whatever catches his eyes, even if it’s hard to get.
Yok, on the other hand, is cold, self-centered and reserved who just clearly brushes off Ing’s obvious advances and interest for him. Well, exactly that part of Yok, sky-rocketed Ing’s interest towards him more. And, thus begins the chasing arc.
However, unknown to Yok’s actual intention, Ing faces harsh betrayal just when he thought he had won Yok over!

Author Shui Qiang Cheng has written 11 different BL stories about 11 different couples, out of all, majority stories are set in the same universe, some even do cross paths with others in the novels. DisneyPlus Thai — Still Water (Still Water 100 Corpses)
The suspense-thriller Thai series, Still Water, which is to start streaming on DisneyPlus on August 28, 2026 unveiled its first look on July 30, 2026 with its first teaser. The officials, DisneyPlus Thai and True CJ Creations have released the official trailer, main character’s posters & teasers so far on their social handles.
Although, the series ‘Still Water’ does not directly falls under the traditional GL genre, which heavily focuses on the love between two women, and the other genres or plots such as actions, suspense-thrill, horror becomes sub-plot, we can still count it as one, as the revolution of GL and BLs are ongoing.
In current days the idea of GL and BL being limited under the tag of ‘genre’ is not authentic if discussed more. Everyday, there’s a new BL or GL undergoing for production which are heavy on either action plot, or suspense or horror themes or all together. The industry is expanding rapidly, and it’s quite an understatement just to fall under a genre.
However, the series ‘Still Water’ focuses more on the suspense, thrill, and events of investigation and romance between the characters acts as the sub-plot of the series.
‘Still Water’ depicts the story of Wari, a beautiful place where strange events and a series of murders starts to occur after the disappearance of a young woman.

Recently, on August 15, DisneyPlus Thai and True CJ Creations released the first character poster and teaser of one of the main character, Pin (Played by Punpun) on all throughout their official media handles.
Later on, on August 16, the character poster and teaser of Jeans (Played by Chippy) got revealed on social media handles of the officials as well.

Punpun Sutatta Udomslip is playing the character of Pin and Chippy Sirin Preediyanon playing as Jeans.
The series starts streaming exclusively on DisneyPlus on August 28, 2026, with its first 4 episodes.
