A supernatural, 2026 Thai BL series, ‘Don’t Be Too Emotional’, had started its journey back in June 26, has finally concluded its journey last week, on September 11, 2026, after a straight twelve-week running schedule with a much deserved, dreamy happy ending for Big Jane (Jane Patrick) and Little Jane (Janalee).
Directed by the same director of ‘Jack and Joker: U Steal My Heart‘ (2024) and ‘Knock Out‘ (2025), Tee Bundit Sintanaparadee, the collaborative series between iQIYI Original and Deep Hup House, ‘Don’t Be Too Emotional’ starred Tee Boonyakait Wongsajaem as Jane Patrick Tarry Palakorn (Big Jane) and Heng Thatpong Rojsangruang as Jennalee Tanapatpibul (also known as ‘Little Jane) in leads.
Tee and Heng, who have been paired for the second time for the series, ‘Don’t Be Too Emotional’ after their first work together being in ‘Love Truck’ (2026), a vertical mini-series of 5 episodes in total, the pair became an official fixed ship (CP), as in working-partners after confirming to work along in the future in August, during the screening of ‘Don’t Be Too Emotional’ Episode 8.
The supernatural-thrilling series, ‘Don’t Be Too Emotional’, an adaptation of the novel ‘Rule No. 1: Don’t Be Too Emotional’ by Hwang Seol depicts the story of Jane Patrick, an extremely attractive mysterious guy and Jennalee, a young, good-looking ongoing college student who plays football in campus.
Fate brings the two together despite the thousands of warnings, obstacles and struggle.
Everyone in university fears Jane Patrick, even tries to stay as far as possible from the man. Rumour has it that Jane could grant any wish if you go up to him for it. However, you must return the favor and that’s absolutely non-negotiable.
Jennalee, who hardly believes in such rumors, gets unbelievably close to Jane Patrick despite numerous warnings. But soon the truth surfaces in front of the man who previously refused to believe any scandalous-talk about the mysterious man.

A Dreamy Ending for an Ethereal Couple, Jane and Jennalee
After having to go through so much, plenty of obstacles, endless suffering, and a prolonged separation, the loving pair Jane and Jennalee finally got their much deserved, dreamy happy ending in the finale of ‘Don’t Be Too Emotional’ (Episode 12).
Following the chaotic memory loss and regain arc in Episode 11, the next one, Episode 12, started off fresh with a pleasantly positive environment. The opening scene starts with showing numerous fans gathered at the exhibition event of Jennalee’s written and illustrated comic, ‘The Secretary and Devil CEO’, which is based on the story of Jennalee and Jane.
After the pre intro in the episode we see Jennalee, who has successfully managed to bring back their house from Jane within a year, spending time at his own house with his parents and siblings. We also get to know Jennalee’s siblings, Jet and Jean, doing well in their start-up online business of Chinese herbal medicine.
The Proposal, Long-Vacation and Jamie’s Kidnap by Dan

After a sweet proposal scene, Jane and Jennalee are seen going on a long vacation to spend their quality time. Exactly when it seemed everything was going smoothly, Jane receives a call from back home, when he gets to know about Jamie, his younger brother being actually kidnapped by Dan. Without wasting any minute, both Jane and Jennalee leave for the city to go where Dan has kept Jamie hidden.
Upon arriving at the location Jane sees his little brother being tied on a chair. Seeing Jane with a gun in his hand, Dan blackmails Jane to drop the gun, and Jane does exactly as mentioned. Dan starts by telling Jane the reason for his deep hatred towards Jane, and blames the man for Dan’s parents death. He also reveals the truth behind the car accident which had resulted in Jennalee’s memory loss (Episode 11).
Eventually, Dan points the gun in hand at Jamie, threatening Jane of killing his brother as the payback according to Dan for the wrongdoings towards Dan’s parents. But, right at that moment enters Jennalee who plays smart and quick, grabs Dan from back and takes him away from Jamie.
Even though Jennalee manages to save Jamie, Jane gets shot by Dan while Jane marches to rescue Jennalee from Dan’s hold. In response to the act of Dan, Jennalee takes the big step, and shots Dan right on the spot.
The Wedding and the Gorgeous ‘First Dance’

With proper treatment in hospital and care by Jennalee, Jane manages to recover faster. The two then go to Jennalee’s parents house, for Jane to ask for forgiveness of his past doings and officially ask for Jennalee’s hand in marriage. Both Jennalee’s father and mother approve of their decision of marriage with a genuine smile on their faces. Preparation for the wedding starts so do the invitations. Jane and Jennalee meet with Jennalee’s friends to invite them to their wedding.
At last, the wedding day arrives. Sweet tunes of piano in background, admiring eyes looking at them, hand in hand Jane and Jennalee rejuvenate the moments from their past. The couple shares a dreamy moment with their intimate, gorgeous bridal ball dance on the floor followed by a sweet kiss at the end.
