2026 Thai Historical BL ‘Love Destiny’ and Omegaverse BL, ‘KNOT’ Conclude Airing with a Happy yet Fragmentary Ending
A historical Thai Lakorn BL, ‘Love Destiny’ and Omegarverse BL series ‘KNOT’ met their end on a happy ending, however, there are a few things left unfinished in the final cut which leaves fans critical. Take a look at what fans are saying!
Yesterday, on September 15, 2026 the two up-until ongoing Thai BL, ‘Love Destiny’ and ‘KNOT’ concluded their journey, one ended on Episode 10, and another on Episode 12. Both the series had started strong on their premiere and tried to maintain the pace of story telling until the later episodes fans started pointing out a lack of rhythm in momentum.
A mix of confusion, unfinished, unsatisfying feeling left the fandoms of each series on dwelling to rate their experience on their respective watch. While, ‘Love Destiny’s overall rating suffered from the execution majorly based on Episode 12, ‘KNOT’ had made the fans question the overall story pacing after the initial few episodes airing.
Thai Time-Travel, Historical BL ‘Love Destiny’
A ten-episode series, Love Destiny is a remake of popular 2018 Thai Lakorn of the same name, which premiered on July 18, 2026. The BL version of the remake, ‘Love Destiny’ (2026), which was revamped from the original storyline on its making had successfully captivated the hearts of the fans on the premiere. However, the rushed ending on the finale episode spoiled the comprehensive watch experience for the fans leaving them bewildered.
Many fans have expressed their dissatisfaction on leaving the storytelling unfinished along the improper way of revealing the ending plot twists in the finale. Many have also complained about the unnecessary plot and character’s story narratives which have impacted on the focus on the main character’s romance story.
However, the time travel, historical themed BL series which is primarily set in the Ayutthaya era, a time around 300 years back from present had multiple fascinating elements to it, such as the quality of production, main plot story, a stunning cast and their appreciable acting.
Synopsis: Great, a veteran surgeon working in an established hospital, one day gets his fortune read by a tarot card reader who warns him about the biggest change that is about to occur in his life. Exactly a few days later to that reading, on the way home Great gets stuck by the lightning and travels back in time, a period 300 years earlier than present time.
Limited to luck, Great happens to wake up in a body of a vile individual, Geaw, as result the poor lad had to atonement the wrongdoings of the previous body owner to survive in the new environment.
Despite the narrative inconsistency, the CUU Thailand series, ‘Love Destiny’ starring Leng Thanaphon U-sinsap as Geaw (Great) and August Vachiravit Paisarnkulwong as Dech in the lead roles delivered outstanding performance throughout the airing of the show along the other casts, which makes the series a recommended watch.
Thai Omegaverse BL ‘KNOT’
The MFlow Entertainment series, KNOT, which concluded its journey yesterday, on September 15, has received mixed reaction from fans on the finale. Although fans have praised the series on various topics such as cast performance, OST, budget of filming, chemistry delivered by the actors, fans have expressed their displeasure over the hastering on the story pacing and unresolved plot threads after seeing the ending execution on the finale episode.
The series, ‘KNOT’, which had outstanded its performance and hyped the expectation of the fans on its trailer launch and maintained a good flow on the initial episodes, begin to let loose the plot revealing of the series in the mid-run of the series, and eventually it lost its momentum in the final episode which triggered a majority of the audience.
Synopsis: Thai BL, ‘KNOT’, starring Boat Yongyut Termtuo as Nakhun and Oat Pasakorn Sanrattana as Phatsa, is the pair’s second series after ‘My Stubborn’ in 2025. The Omegaverse series tells the story of Phatsa, who has never known about the existence of special genders of humans, that are Alpha, Omega and Beta, until recently. One night, Phatsa gets into trouble where he gets attacked by the goons because of his sudden manifestation and entering to heat. He gets saved by an unknown man who happens to be the heir of an influential family. Not only he gets saved by the man but also gets marked by the handsome stranger, the true Alpha, Nakhun.
Hereby starts the journey of two, from being total strangers to bonded mates, who cannot live without one another.
Despite the issue of lost in pacing, the twelve-episode series, ‘KNOT’, has done a commendable job on carrying the sensitive, challenging subject of Omegaverse to the fullest extent. Also, the performance delivered by the cast and compelling chemistry between the characters were doubtlessly praiseworthy.
